Thank you for your interest in the Transgender Resource Center!

Our mission is to foster the development of a positive and helpful community to support those facing the unique challenges that confront transgendered individuals and to engender the acceptance and support of transgendered individuals within Second Life and society at large. To visit the TRC just use the landmark link at the top of this page or search "Places" for "Transgender Resource Center" but leave out the quotes.

If you are transgendered or transsexual, know someone who is, or have a genuine and serious interest in issues related to gender identity, please come visit us at our cozy digs in Pavonia for an open and honest chat by the fireside! In addition to a warm and welcoming community, you will also find a variety of movie trailers, book excerpts, and links to web-sites designed to help you learn more about issues relevant to the transgendered and transsexual community.

We also hold regularly scheduled meetings as well as special events! If you'd like to stay informed just join the Transgender Resource Center group! If you prefer to remain anonymous but would still like to stay current with TRC events please IM Jani Myriam for additional details on how to stay informed.

To join the Transgender Resource Center group just follow these simple steps:

  1. Click the Search button
  2. Click the Groups tab
  3. In the box labeled "find:" type (or copy and paste) the following: Transgender Resource Center
  4. Click the Join button. That's it!
